Individual one on one sessions

I also offer virtual appointments that are a convenient way to sort out an injury or training concerns without having to be physically present in the clinic. These sessions are a great tool for quickly assessing a new injury or getting a second opinion about an old injury. I can help guide you through the next steps in your rehab, treatment and training process. This type of appointment is good for individuals that cannot easily travel to the clinic.

Physiotherapy combines in-depth knowledge of the human body and how it works with specialized, hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat the symptoms of illness, injury, or disability. Physiotherapists are primary healthcare professionals. We are often sought out prior to a physician for musculoskeletal injury, such as an ankle sprain, knee or shoulder injury, back and neck pain regardless of whether they were from a sports injury.

Physio, fitness training, injury prevention and recovery strategies have been the heart of my practice for over 40 years. It is my passion with my years of clinical experience can help you get the help you need. I view each patient as an athlete and follows the current best practices in physiotherapy while treating and training them. My goal is to rehabilitate and motivate you, enabling the return to leisure activities, high-level sport or the workplace.

My treatment philosophy goes above and beyond normal treatment parameters and includes using a combination of manual therapy and modality therapy as well as dynamic exercise techniques to help restore and improve normal joint and tissue mobility. I assess patients as a whole, identifying abnormal movement patterns along the kinetic chain and highlights intrinsic and extrinsic factors that maybe contributing to an injury. I direct and apply specific focused exercises to restore function and improve strength and stability. As well, through educating my patients and athletes on the “Rules of Recovery” I help them to protect against injury.
